You can learn to knit with me

Knitting class – a one-skein knit project.

Get ready for the winter in this class aimed at beginner or intermediate knitters who want to learn new skills. In the class you will be given the help and knowledge to create your own scarf, socks or gloves (patterns will be provided) or even a project of your own choice.

In this workshop you will:
Develop your basic knitting skills, including various decrease/increase techniques, and the basic techniques necessary for confident knitting
Learn techniques for knitting in the round and creating patterns
Start knitting an item from the list above and leave with all materials needed to create it plus knit support beyond the class to make sure you finish your piece.

This course is suitable for beginners to those who would like to start learning new skills. One skein of hand dyed yarn by skeinqueen will be enough yarn to make either a pair of adult socks, a scarf or two pairs of mittens.

Light refreshments are included.
